This week did not go well. I was really sick to my stomach so running didn’t go according to plan. I dislike the low mileage but I know that it’s bound to happen anyway. Sometimes the body needs a break to heal itself.
Running on vacation was quite interesting. Every day except Wednesday and Friday I was up at 6 AM to get my run in before we hit the parks. I’m not much of an early morning runner so this got old really fast. Luckily, I was able to push on and just get it done.
Finished a 10K today in some tough weather. It was 18 today with winds at 40 mph causing sub-zero windchill. Costco saved my butt today with their Paradox base layers and Head running gloves. Couldn’t feel myself smiling for this post run photo, lol. #runblr #coldweatherrunning #run
One thing I love about vacation? Trying things I wouldn’t normally try at home. Got to split this monstrous sundae with my daughter and husband. It was amazing 😃
Another good running week in the books. I’m debating changing the title to something like “Weekly Running Summary” or something since I’m not actively training for anything. The again, I am somewhat training for pace improvement. Eh…I think I’ll sleep on it for a bit.
Late post for training week. It’s been a busy few days and this weekend was crazy. My husband had to go in to work so I didn’t have any time to sit down and prepare this post. Now that I finally found some time I thought I should go ahead and knock this out.
